Early during the morning quiet on the buses I said to the eraly training group (Carol, Kate, Theresa, Robin & others) that no matter how far the run is & how many you train with, you always seem to run the last couple of miles by yourself. That could not have been further from the truth. We paced well at the start, split into smaller groups (but stayed together most of the run). Just when I found myself on my own, I came upon the person that would help me across the finish line.
Thank you Theresa for being a huge support during training runs but more importantly, being there on Beacon St to help me in. You, along with my son, made this my best marathon (even though my time was mt slowest).
