I really enjoyed the course and the low-key vibe of the race. The marathon and half-marathon people ran together through mile 8, so there was some crowd excitement at the start, and room to spread out a bit after mile 8. I think there were only about 500 marathoners, but that is sure to grow if they continue this race. I really liked having my own "space". Roads were not entirely closed to traffic, but there was very good police control and that was not an issue. We ran a bike path from mile 17 to 19, I believe. I would do it again, and that pretty much says it all.
